The Villas at Tropicana, situated in the heart of Isla Vista, is minutes from UCSB’s campus, blocks from the beach and conveniently located next to bus stops. At the Villas, you’ll find recently renovated two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments, fully furnished and outfitted with kitchen appliances.

It’s easy to meet people at monthly events planned by our Community Assistants. Amenities on site include a pool; rec room with ping-pong, pool table and large-screen TV; an on-site laundry room; and off-street parking available. As a resident of a Trop community, you’ll also enjoy access to the resort-style amenities at nearby Tropicana Gardens and Tropicana Del Norte: two 24-hour study lounges, two heated pools, 27-seat private movie theater, cardio room, fitness center, hydro-massage room and tanning booth. Don’t like to cook? Trop Café offers a 20% discount on the unlimited academic year meal plan for Villas residents.

One easy payment includes your rent, plus flat-fee utilities, so you don’t need to create separate accounts for water, electricity, cable TV and high-speed WiFi. Individual 10 month leases or 10 and 12 month Joint & Several lease types are available.

*To live at Villas at Tropicana, you must have completed 12 college credits (or equivalent high school AP credits) or be at least 20 years old on August 15, 2013.
